All The Trend You Need To Know About For Fall 2022

Catsuits

Sporty meets chic! “Catsuits” – also known as a one-piece bodysuit. They have been dominating the runways for Fall 2022. The opening of the Dior show was a model wearing a wired bodysuit which in the dark was lit up fluorescent green – we would call this look female empowerment.

Further, we saw the beautiful one-piece from Vaquera with emphasis on highlighting the female body. We were also introduced to a full leopard sheer bodysuit, which comes to tell us that less is not always more! If you are not one of those daring ones, it is also very chic with an all black classic bodysuit, see below for our picks on where to shop this trend.

Focus On The Waist

Waist-defining half-apron or corsets were seen a lot on the Fendi runway for Fall 2022. All the focus lied on showing off the female body structure in a subtle and classy way. The ideas of how to wear this trend is endless and the big fashion houses showed us that a corset can even be worn on top of your coat.

Gloves

The “Gloves” trend has already been seen on the Versace runway last year for Fall 2021, however it seems like this trend is here to stay! This accessory trend has been seen a lot from brands like Fendi, Off-White and Versace again. As seen on the runway, they instantly elevate any look and are the perfect add-on to your dress.

Grey Hues

“50 Shades of Grey” is the motto!

Does the grey weather make you feel moody? No problem – adjust your outfit and you’re good to go! Doesn’t matter if it’s pants, coats or accessoires: The trend goes for everything.

You should definitely take some inspo from the Max Mara or Fendi Runway – an all grey look looks classic and cool at the same time!

Overknee Boots

This trend has already been seen in the last seasons but apparently it’s here to stay!

The Overknee Boots will keep you extra warm while looking super chic and classy.

It dominated on the runways of Bottega Veneta and Courrèges and one thing is for sure: If you want to try something new, you should combine the two trends and go for patent leather overknee boots.

It’s that easy to kill two birds with one stone!

Patent Leather

Patent leather is back and more trendy than ever!

Compared to normal leather it stands out because of its glossy look – definitely an eye-catcher if you want to pimp your outfit.

We totally understand if you don’t want to wear a full patent leather outfit – just try to exchange some of your regular leather pieces and if you’d like to keep it a bit more understated, you can still shop shoes and accessories with this high-shine material.

Pro-tip: the most popular patent leather pieces of the season are undoubtedly jackets, coats and pants!

Satin Fabrics

Skirts, coats but especially dresses: Satin is everywhere!

It is light, soft and cooling which makes it the perfect fabric for warm summer days. Especially Saint Laurent really rocked this trend on their runway: They combined it a lot with another material trend of the season: Patent leather!

You just can’t ever go wrong with a simple satin dress – just throw a leather jacket over and you’re good to go!

Sheer Fabrics

Sheer fabrics are obviously here to stay! They have been seen on repeat numerous seasons and we must say, it’s hard not to love this trend. The transparency adds mysteriousness and in a sense it can even seem a bit intimidating. The look from Saint Laurent is an example of how to pull off a sheer look – yet look bold and classy.

This trend can be worn in so many different ways and it might be a bit overwhelming with the vast amount of sheer clothing pieces out there, so we have made it easier for you and created some shopping links for you below with some of our favorite sheer fabric pieces.

Tangerine Orange

Orange is the new black!

If you want your outfit to stand out, you should definitely not miss THE color trend of the season: Tangerine Orange!

We’ve seen it everything everywhere – from coats and dresses to boots and lingerie – this color is dominating every runway. You could also do it like Vaquera and combine the color with the satin fabric trend – that way you can get two things at once.

It doesn’t matter what kind of piece or accessoire – this color is for everyone and we expect to see it everywhere as the color of summer 2022!
